Body of Christ or Bride of Christ?

This is a most relevant and interesting read, discussing the difference between the body and the bride of Christ. Many reborn Christians live in a false sense of security, depending wholly upon OSAS (once saved, always saved). There is more to the Gospel than meets the eye, though. Not all will be taken aside before tribulation, that seems to be the privilege of the Bride only.

After tribulation as explained by Jesus, who is God

Matthéüs 24:29-31

“Immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man arriving on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

  1. I never understood the “once saved, always saved” teaching. It seems to be a feel good tactic used by those who seek followers rather than souls for the Kingdom. A sad thing! Revelation 3:5 says: “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” A name, of course, cannot be blotted out unless it is first written in. It all seems so simple….
